Where does Direct Fitness Gear ship?
We deliver across Australia! To get a shipping estimate, simply enter your postcode into the shipping calculator on any product page or in your cart. Please note, we do not currently offer international shipping.
What if there's no delivery option for my address?
If the calculator doesn't provide an option for your full address, please contact our team with your complete details. We'll work with our courier partners to get you a personalised shipping quote.
How much does delivery cost?
Delivery costs are calculated based on your location and the size/weight of your order. For an accurate quote, please use the shipping calculator on the product page or in your shopping cart by entering your postcode.
How long will my delivery take?
For items in stock, we aim to have them collected by our courier within 1-2 business days. Once dispatched:
- Metropolitan areas: 4-10 business days.
- Regional & remote areas: Allow approximately 2-3 weeks. Please note that unforeseen events (like severe weather) can occasionally cause delays outside of our control.
Can I pick up my order from a warehouse? (Click & Collect)?
No, we are an online-only retailer. This allows us to keep our overheads low and pass the savings on to you through competitive pricing. All orders are delivered directly to your door via courier.
How can I track my order?
Shortly after your order is placed, you'll receive an order confirmation email. Once your gear has been dispatched (within 72 hours), we will send a second email containing your tracking number and a link to monitor your delivery's progress.
Which couriers do you use?
We partner exclusively with reputable, national courier services to ensure your equipment arrives safely. For larger items (like treadmills or functional trainers), you will receive a phone call from the courier to schedule a suitable delivery time.
Products & Stock
Are all items on your website in stock?
Yes! Our website live inventory is accurate. Each product has a stock status message displayed clearly near the "Add to Cart" button. If you can add an item to your cart, it is either in our warehouse, available for pre-order, or available to order in.
What does "Pre-Order" mean?
Pre-order items are already manufactured and are on their way to our warehouse. The listed ETA is our best estimate for when we expect to receive them. You can secure your item now, and it will be dispatched the same day it arrives at our facility. We will email you with updates on your order status.
What does "On-Order" mean?
On-order items are not currently in our warehouse but can be ordered from our suppliers. The ETA provided is an estimate that includes manufacturing and shipping time to us. You can place your order to secure your unit, and we will contact you immediately with any updates.
How accurate are your ETAs?
We strive to keep our ETAs as accurate as possible and update them regularly. While most shipments arrive on time, occasional delays in global shipping or manufacturing can occur, which are beyond our control. We will proactively contact you if there is any significant change to your expected date.
An item I want is out of stock. When will it be back?
Restocking times can vary, but typically it takes 2-3 months. If a new shipment is already scheduled, we will often open it for pre-order with a published ETA. You can also contact us for a more specific update.
Delivery & Assembly
How will my item be delivered?
All equipment is securely packaged in its original manufacturer's box for safe transit. Larger items will be delivered on a pallet via a tailgate truck for ease of offloading.
Does the equipment come fully assembled?
For safe transportation, all items are delivered in their boxed state. Most products require some customer assembly, and comprehensive instruction manuals are always included. Some larger items may have certain components pre-assembled.
Warranty & Support
Does my equipment come with a warranty?
Yes! The specific warranty details for each product are clearly listed under the "Warranty" section on its product page. All our gear comes with a manufacturer's warranty for your peace of mind.
Payment & Accounts
Do you offer layby?
We do not offer traditional layby. However, we provide several flexible Buy Now, Pay Later options at checkout, including Afterpay and Zip, to help you get the gear you want without the upfront cost.
Do you offer commercial pricing for gyms?
Absolutely! We love supporting fitness businesses. Please contact our commercial sales team via email with your equipment list and requirements, and we will provide a competitive quote.
Troubleshooting
I qualified for free shipping, but I'm being charged?
Some items are marked with free shipping to most locations. To confirm if your address qualifies, simply enter your postcode into the delivery calculator. If a charge appears, it means a shipping surcharge applies to your specific area, which will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
I haven't received my order confirmation email. What should I do?
First, please check your junk or spam folder, as our emails can sometimes be filtered there. If you still can't find it, contact our customer service team. We can verify the email address used and resend the confirmation directly.
