Direct Fitness Gear: Policies & Security

Secure Payment Processing

Your security is our priority. We use Shopify Payments, a leading payment gateway trusted by thousands of Australian businesses, to process all online transactions.

  • Protected Transactions: All payments are secured with 128-bit SSL encryption, and your full credit card number is never visible to us or any third party.

  • Secure Data Handling: Transaction data is encrypted and stored in Shopify Payments' bank-grade data centres.

  • Direct Processing: Shopify Payments is an authorised third-party processor for major Australian banks. Funds are transferred directly from your card to our merchant account; Shopify Payments never holds your money.

  • Fraud Prevention: To protect you and us, we may request ID (such as a driver's licence or utility bill) to verify the legitimacy of an order.

Delivery & Shipping

After you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation. We aim to dispatch in-stock items from our Perth warehouse within 1-4 business days.

Please Note:

  • Stock Availability: If an item is unavailable, we will notify you within 24 hours.

  • 3PL Products: Items not held in our main warehouse may take 5-7 business days to dispatch.

  • Delivery Times: All delivery estimates are provided by our carriers and are subject to delays, especially for remote areas. We provide tracking for all orders.

  • Heavy Items (25kg+): These are kerbside delivery only. The customer is responsible for moving items inside. Please be available to assist the driver. For a two-person delivery service, contact us for a quote.

  • Re-delivery Fee: A $25 fee applies if no one is available to receive the delivery.

  • Delivery Scope: Service is to ground level only and does not include waste removal.

Returns & Refunds

We follow the Australian Consumer Commission (ACCC) guidelines. For more information, visit the ACCC website.

  • Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind.

  • Faulty or Damaged Goods: Items must be reported within 7 days of delivery and will be replaced. Please have your tax invoice and original packaging ready.

  • Authorised Returns: If we authorise a return for another reason, the buyer is responsible for all delivery costs (including any initially subsidised "free" delivery) and a 15% restocking fee.

  • Warranty Issues: For valid warranty claims we cannot fix, we will cover all return costs.

Free Delivery

Where advertised, free delivery is subsidised by Direct Fitness Gear for a set amount based on your postcode and product.

  • Check Your Eligibility: Use the delivery calculator at checkout for an accurate estimate.

  • Policy: We reserve the right to cancel or amend orders that fall outside our free delivery zones or due to incorrect quotes or stock availability.

Incoming (Pre-order) & Made to order (On-order)

These are for products en route from our suppliers or made-to-order.

  • Estimated Times: All provided ETAs are estimates for stock to arrive at our warehouse. Please allow additional time for dispatch and final delivery, as delays can occur.

  • Refunds: Refunds are not provided for change of mind on incoming (Pre-Order) or Made to order (On-Order) purchases.

Gift Vouchers

  • Validity: Vouchers are redeemable for three years from the issue date unless otherwise stated.

  • Usage: Cannot be combined with other promotions or used for commercial purchases.
